Game Of Thrones: 9 Crazy Fan Theories About Tyrion Lannister

4. He Commits Suicide

A nice step-back into reality after that last one, with a theory for Tyrion killing himself. Lovely. Actually, for all the death in Westeros, you don't get all that much suicide, probably because the characters don't live long enough to get the chance to off themselves.

Tyrion, though, well he probably is going to survive a while, and he may be prime candidate to be the major character who dies at his own hand rather than that of someone else. Essentially this theory starts with a line from the show: "Matricide, patricide, infanticide, suicide. There's no kind of killing that doesn't have its own word." He killed his mother and his father, so could he possibly kill a child, and then himself?

Tyrion has long been a character unsure of whether or not he wants to live, although by the end of A Dance with Dragons he has decided that he would rather like to go on. However, it is possible that this is the fitting end for him, as it's difficult to imagine any of the others killing him in a way that feels right, although perhaps more likely is something that does involve him dying on his own terms, in an act of total self-sacrifice.
