Game Of Thrones: 9 Early Predictions For Season 7
5. Sansa Will Ultimately Side With Jon, Littlefinger Dies
Although Jon and Sansa had an initially joyous reunion, their relationship became more strained as he charged headfirst into battle with Ramsay Bolton, while she went behind his back and colluded with Petyr Baelish.
The siblings were ostensibly still on the same side come the end of Season 6, but there was a telling look between Baelish and Sansa that suggests it could be betrayed in favour of her (which means Littlefinger's) quest for power.
That's going to continue into Season 7, because clearly there's plenty to be resolved as far as Jon, Sansa, and Littlefinger are concerned. Baelish has shown her the picture in his head, of him on the Iron Throne and her by his side, and while she rejected it, she also knows that she is the rightful ruler of Winterfell (in Bran's absence, anyway), not Jon.
It's quite likely that Thrones will continue playing up that tension between Sansa and Jon, but when it comes to it, she isn't going to betray him for Littlefinger. She knows too well what he's like, and isn't going to be manipulated by anyone again. Ultimately, it'll come down to choosing between Jon and Littlefinger, and she'll choose her blood.
As for Baelish, with all his scheming and plotting against the new King in the North, it's fairly conceivable he'll meet his end in Season 7 (he's culpable for a lot of crimes against the Starks, and truth could be revealed about those which would only further his chances of dying). Baelish is a master of the Game of Thrones, but that's not going to matter much once the White Walkers invade, meaning his story is almost up.
