13. The Mountain

Of all the characters in Westeros, Gregor Clegane has probably gone through the biggest change (unless you count Jon Snow going from alive to dead to alive again as more serious). He's been played by three actors so far, has flirted with death and is now a monstrous husk of a man, transformed into a killing machine by Qyburn.

If this were a ranking of the strongest or the most ferocious characters, he'd be the undisputed champion, but as it is, he's no more than a personality void with rippling muscles. And rather unfortunately for him, the make-over he's enjoyed to become Ser Robert Strong has made him look a little... goofy. Just don't tell him.

The fact that he's around is still a great thing, as it leaves the possibility of a Clegane Bowl face-off with his brother at the end of things, but until then he's no more than hired muscle who once had much more potential.
