Game Of Thrones Cast: Where Are They Now?

1. Sean Bean

Game Of Thrones Seasons Ranked 2

Game Of Thrones is a show that thrived on its shock deaths - almost all of which worked because it reminded us that people can't live long in a barbaric world like this. However, the first real shock came when Sean Bean's leading man, Ned Stark, was killed off early on - leaving the rest of the characters (who were basically all supporting at this point) to carry on without him.

Bean's no stranger to unexpectedly departing productions early as a number of his characters have been prematurely killed off throughout his illustrious career, so we really shouldn't have been all that shocked. That, however, hasn't stopped him from moving onto greener pastures.

With nearly a decade full of performances since he left Westeros behind, the veteran actor's post-GoT career has flourished almost as much as it did beforehand, with him landing leading roles in shows Legends, The Frankenstein Chronicles and World on Fire while also appearing in a slew of films including Wicked Blood, Jupiter Ascending and The Martian, and he recently appeared in horror film Possessor.

Bean's continued success as an actor was never a question. The real question, however, is: How many times has he died since Ned got the chop? Guess you'll have to watch his performances to find out.
