4. The Return Of Theon
Theon is lost in the ruin of Reek but he does make a brief but startling return in A Dance With Dragons. A plot is afoot in the North, which sees Ramsay Bolton married to Arya Stark - in actual fact Jeyne Poole, an old friend of Sansas. Ramsay of course knows she isnt really Arya, but he is determined to convince everybody else that she is. And to do so he needs Theon. Reek acts as Theon to represent Winterfell and give away the bride. As a ward at Winterfell Theon would of course know exactly who Arya is so his apparent belief when giving her away manages to convince everybody else. Being so broken, however, Reek doesnt know how to be Theon anymore. This later changes (probably in season six) but for the time being Theon is completely gone. To take on the role of Theon once more Alfie Allen is going to need to flex his acting chops - though he has already proven himself extremely capable. So a wedding and the return of Theon probably awaits fans in season five; and everybody knows how bloody weddings are in Game of Thrones.
