It's been well publicised that the Game Of Thrones team decided against a return to Dubrovnik, Croatia to film King's Landing scenes. However, it doesn't seem logical to suddenly reimagine the city in a different shooting location, so we can only suspect that means we'll be seeing far less of the capital and those still alive in it. Cersei, the Faith Militant, Olenna Tyrell, Petyr Baelish, Tommen, Margaery, Loras and more all remain in King's Landing, and shortening their intertwined storylines may be a worrying move. There's a whole mess there, and if their roles are condensed, it may make King's Landing seem less relevant despite the fact that it's perilously close to a meltdown.
