Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Book Of The Stranger'

7. Littlefinger Is Back

Game of Thrones Petyr Baelish Littlefinger

Finally!

After three episodes without any sign of him, Littlefinger makes his belated Season 6 debut here, and it's great to have the master schemer back on our screens.

Admittedly the scene he's placed in isn't the best, because, well, it includes Robin Arryn, who probably only escapes being as detested as fellow irritating, blood-thirsty little toe-rags such as Olly and Joffrey by the fact he's not been seen anywhere near as much.

But the return of Baelish eclipses that, especially as he's straight back into the swing of things, holding the life of Yohn Royce in his hands. It's not made clear exactly what he's been up to, save buying Robin a present, and similarly it's not clear just what his ultimate goal is here, but then that's all part and parcel of Littlefinger, and one of the reasons he's so great to watch.
