Game Of Thrones Season 6: 14 New Cast Members You Need To Know About

6. Freddie Stroma

Game Of Thrones Ian Mcshane
Warner Bros.

The Actor: Freddie Stroma has had roles in a variety of films and shows, most recently starring in the Lifetime TV series unREAL, playing one of the romantic interests in the dark comedy show. Outside of Thrones, he'll also be seen next in the Michael Bay film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

He is best known, though, for his role in another fantasy series, Harry Potter, where he played Gryffindor Quidditch keeper, Hermione love interest, and general smug a**hole Cormac McLaggen. He'll become the 10th actor to appear in both series

The Role: Another member of the Tarly family, Stroma will be playing Sam's younger brother Dickon. He is the son that Randyll Tarly always wanted, and the son Samwell could never be. As the casting call said, he's "athletic, a good hunter, an excellent swordsman, manly, not particularly bright but the favourite child of the father."

With Sam a member of the Night's Watch, he is also heir to his father's seat at Horn Hill, was part of the force at Highgarden supporting Renly Baratheon's claim to the Iron Throne, and is wed to Eleanor Mooton of Maidenpool.
