Game Of Thrones Season 6: 5 Reasons Cleganebowl Needs To Happen (And 3 It Doesn't)

1. Cleganebowl Yes: No Happy Endings

Everybody suspects but nobody wants it to be true. The simple fact is that Game Of Thrones may end with everybody brutally killed. There is very little chance we're going to watch the credits roll without feeling at least partly betrayed, so why not give us this? One for the road.

We may not want to believe that there will be no winners in Westeros but we already know that there are no real winners in Cleganebowl. At very best, the brother we like will murder his big brother for irreparable damage already done. This one is a one way trip for our guy and we're okay with that. We just want some cathartic revenge before the world burns.

If this show is going down, it has to be in a blaze of glory. Cleganebowl is perfect for that. If there is to be a positive resolution, it would still be nice, but I doubt we'd feel cheated in that case. A dark ending without this confrontation though would be a failure.
