Game Of Thrones Season 6: 8 Things That Don't Make Any Sense (So Far)

It's impossible to stay on top of everything...

Game Of Thrones is huge in every sense of the word: the cast is huge, the budget is huge and the number of plot lines is huge. Which makes it understandable that it would be incredibly difficult to keep everything together and in check at all times.

On the whole, the show does a remarkable job at juggling all of the details big and small. Yet sometimes inconsistencies slip through the net. This can happen for various reasons: there isn't enough time to acknowledge something, or the plot demands something change in order for the overall story to progress.

Nevertheless these issues are still valid (and at times, frustrating). For as much as the show gets right, it still frequently gets things wrong.

From teleporting characters (that have nothing to do with riding long distances) to murders that seemingly nobody cares about, here are eight things from season six that don't make any sense.

8. The Teleporting Sand Snakes

It's no secret that the Sand Snakes' story line from season five is regarded as one of the worst inclusions in the show's history, simultaneously cringe-worthy, poorly acted and featuring some questionable (at best) writing. It's not particularly surprising, then, that the show has decided to off that entire storyline for season six, but even this has been rather clunky.

At the end of season five we see the Sand Snakes on the port at Dorne having just poisoned Myrcella Baratheon. Jaime and Myrcella share an emotional goodbye, and that's that. Trystane is also on his way to King's Landing.

However, at the start of season six, the Sand Snakes have magically teleported onto Trystane's ship, despite being clearly left behind. It's not even like they're there for some insignificant reason: they precede to brutally murder Trystane. As one of the steps in completely excommunicating the Dorne plot line, it's pretty fitting that it went down in such a nonsensical way.
