If you're following the rumours for season 7, there's a very good chance you will have seen the one suggesting that after a battle mid-way through the season, Dany is forced to rescue some of her allies from beyond the Wall, using her dragons to rain hot hell on her confirmed icy enemies.

The best part of that rumour - because the idea of Dany barbecuing wights as the Night's King looks on with what passes for dismay in his world - is that one of the dragons is said to be killed in the battle. And obviously when you die around the frosty King, you don't stay dead for long.

Just imagine how high the hype dial would be turned up if the final shot of the entire season was the Night's King standing in front of the beast's carcass raising his arms as he did iconically at the end of Hard Home and the dragon's eyes opening again, with a distinctly icy glaze...
