Though it's already been established that Game Of Thrones so far has been good to us in terms of confirming fan theories and dropping in key, fan-baiting moments, there's nothing to say that one of the most hotly anticipated moments yet to come in the series won't end up being nixed entirely.

We've all come to expect that the story of the Brothers Clegane will end with them squaring up in an epic CleganeBowl that will hopefully see The Hound smash his poxy brother's big ugly zombie head into the ground triumphantly. It's always been a matter of time, and even the second trailer seemed to suggest it might go down at the climax of the season in the Dragonpit.

Then again, something else huge might be happening there as Jon attempts to convince Cersei that the White Walker threat is real, so there may not actually be any space for the brothers to fight. And there's a pretty nagging suspicion that The Hound may fall once more, especially as he'll follow Thoros and Beric North with Jon on the secret mission hinted at in the trailers.

And such disappointment wouldn't be unprecedented either: it's not like we're seeing Lady Stoneheart any time soon is it?
