5. Hot Pie Still Knows Nothing About Knights

The return of Hot Pie was one of the most joyous moments of the episode, as the cult hero/baker extraordinaire filled 'Arry in on the fact her family has retaken Winterfell, while also showing off his pie-making skills.

He referenced his meeting with Brienne, which took place in Season 4's Mockingbird, the last time we were to see Hot Pie. Here, he says that he thought she was a knight "because she had armour on."

Clearly he hasn't learned from past mistakes, as this is similar to something he said to Gendry way back in Season 2. Bragging about a fight he witnessed, Hot Pie says he knew one of the men invovled was a knight because he had armour on. Gendry dismissed this, telling him that anyone can buy armour. Apparently Hot Pie didn't listen.

On a non-show-related Hot Pie tidbit, a pretty fun bit of news was recently revealed (via Digital Spy): the actor who plays him, Ben Hawkey, has opened up his own bakery, available via Deliveroo. It sells direwolf shaped loaves, and is called, quite brilliantly, You Know Nothing, Jon Dough.
