Game Of Thrones Season 7 Finale: 11 Big Questions After 'The Dragon And The Wolf'
6. What Will Happen When Jon Learns The Truth?
Jon and Daenerys get it on during the finale, but at the same time we get a very clear reminder that the two are related. It doesn't matter right now since neither of them knows, but eventually that truth has to come out.
So what will happen when it does? It could, potentially, have major ramifications for not just for Jon himself, but Daenerys and the rest of the realm too. It means Jon has just had sex with his aunt, but is also the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, something Dany has spent the majority of this show intent on claiming herself.
Will the fact that they're related change anything with regards to their romantic relationship? Targaryens have been known to be fond of incest, but Daenerys has typically tried to avoid being her ancestors and Jon was brought up as a Northerner, so will either of them be prepared to have an incestuous relationship, or is it going to be the end of their coupling?
In terms of the realm, it's hard to see Jon wanting to take the Iron Throne, but then he didn't want to be Lord Commander or King in the North either. Could Daenerys take umbrage with that, or will the pair work together?
