Game Of Thrones Season 7 Implications: What "Stormborn" Really Means
6. Jon's Littlefinger Friction
It's definitely about time someone took Littlefinger to task for his behaviour over the past six seasons, and his flagrant admission that he has the same designs on Sansa as he had on Catelyn was the trigger that blew Jon Snow's top this week.
Jon revealed that he's never really had time for Baelish, even after he saved his life, and took his aggression as far as strangling the duplicitous lech in the Stark tomb. This wasn't the revelation that Littlefinger knows Jon's true parentage that some expected, but it will probably still make big waves.
There's no way Littlefinger will take that lying down, and he's likely to make a move to undermine him further while he's away at Dragonstone making an alliance with Dany. He's not the type to forget actual violence towards him, particularly when Jon has made it known he will stop any attempt to get to Sansa the way Baelish wants.
