3. Tyrion's Punishment

Having "masterminded" Dany's big defeats so far, Tyrion was punished this episode in a pretty cruel way that was actually a pretty ingenious move by Dany. She sent him to watch her decimation of the Lannister army, with the expectation that he would witness the death of his brother Jaime.

This was not only designed to punish him (even though he is estranged from them, Jaime's death would hurt Tyrion very obviously), but also to test his commitment to Dany. He was sent to that hill to watch the battle with a Dothraki minder, clearly tasked with watching his reactions to the action (and probably told to cut him down if he tried to intervene).

This was Dany trying to weed out Tyrion as a mole, and the fact that he did nothing but call his brother an idiot as he faced near certain death should be evidence enough.
