Game Of Thrones Season 7 Implications: What "The Spoils Of War" Really Means

4. Theon Versus Jon

Theon Game Of Thrones

Having left his sister to be taken away by Euron, Theon is back on Dragonstone with what remains of his loyalists (though they look increasingly unhappy with his leadership with every word) and he's come to ask Dany for help recovering her.

He also came face to face with Jon, who was significantly less than happy to see him, and confirmed the only reason he's still alive is because he helped save Sansa. There's clearly no love lost, and Theon has a lot to do to prove to Jon he's a good guy.

There is absolutely no way Dany is going to go to King's Landing to get Yara back when it could spell doom for what remains of her fleet, or a negative impact on the populace's opinion of her (as Jon confirmed would happen if she flies in on a dragon). But that doesn't mean she won't allow someone else to go.

It's fairly reasonable to bet that Dany will allow Tyrion and Davos to go to King's Landing to try and sneak Yara out, since Tyrion's knowledge of the place (and Davos' knowledge of the street levels) would be invaluable in that endeavour.
