Game Of Thrones Season 8: 15 Stupid Blunders That Completely Ruined It

8. Bran

“And who has a better story than Bran the Broken?” Literally everyone else, Tyrion.

Bran was never a good character. His storyline was the least interesting of the show (at least until Dorne came along), and his “character development” was from him going from a crippled boy to a crippled boy who was also a soulless creep with mind powers and knowledge of the history of Westeros.

They could have done something with that, but he was completely useless in season 8. He spent the first two episodes staring into our souls and giving us paranoia that he’s watching us from every corner (that can't just be me, right?), then he “had to go” during the Battle of Winterfell. Where was he, watching Avengers: Endgame with Ghost? Because he certainly wasn’t using his powers to fight the army of the dead. Unless he was gathering an army of birds to carry Arya to the godswood to attack the Night King from behind.

Bran could have done something, but he did nothing. Maybe being crowned king was a fitting punishment for him being so useless.

Or maybe – just maybe – it was his plan to seize the throne all along because he knew Daenerys would murder thousands and Jon would kill her, then he sent him back to the wall as a final “f*ck you”. Are we sure Daenerys is the real villain here?
