Game Of Thrones Season 8 Finale: Every Survivor's Ending Ranked Worst To Best

1. Sansa Stark

Game of Thrones Sansa Queen in the North
HBO

Sansa Stark was a victim of multiple abuses over the years and whether she chose to go to King's Landing in the first place in pursuit of a dream that wasn't real or not, her transition into the Queen of the North was exactly what she deserved after what she was put through.

The end of Game Of Thrones turned the Little Bird who wanted so hard to be Cersei into her own, powerful identity and took away her mournful exterior to have her emerge - phoenix-like (somewhat ironically given Sophie Turner's next big acting gig) - as the protector of the North.

Having been forced to bend the knee to her abusers and to bend to the will of other people, despite knowing what is best for her and her people for so long, Sansa's finale gives her the power to stand up and defiantly take the power back for herself and the North. She is the final cherry on the top of the realisation that Ned Stark won the Game Of Thrones by having each of his surviving children become everything he would want of them.
