7. Littlefinger Outstays His Welcome

As Sansa Stark becomes less of an isolated figure, Littlefinger's plan to draw her under his web of influence will stop being as successful. With Jon Snow gone and Bran apparently completely detached from reality, she is currently extremely vulnerable to his machinations, which work mostly because he lays down truths in amongst his temptations.

But it won't last.

Jon might not be coming back to Winterfell any time soon, but Arya is, and it is suggested that Littlefinger will see Bran - the legitimate heir to Winterfell, remember - as a threat to his plans and will try and kill him (poetically using the Catspaw Dagger the assassin failed with in season one). Since Bran has to live to be the real Three-Eyed Raven, Littelfinger has to fail, and it wouldn't be surprising if Arya was the key to that interruption.

It would seem likely that that will spell the end of Littlefinger's time in Winterfell, and possibly on this mortal plane too. And not a tear shall be shed.
