Lane, Rory's life-long best friend, is definitely going to be in the revival, but just what is she up to now? When we last saw her, she had just had twins, while husband Zack was preparing to go off and tour with another band.

Are the pair still together? It seems unlikely they'd ever break up to be fair, and it'd feel like an unnecessary move. Their twins will be a lot older now too, so what will they be like, and how is Lane handling motherhood?

(Speaking of parents, will A Year In The Life be the time we finally meet Mr Kim?)

The other aspect of Lane's character is, of course, music. She promised that Hep Alien would rock again - so have/will they?
