Gotham: 10 Villains That Should Appear In Season 4

1. Jane Doe

Another character that won't, but definitely should appear in Gotham's fourth season is a definite creepster - one who goes by the name of Jane Doe.

As you can probably tell from the above image, Jane doesn't actually have a face. What she does have, however, is a nigh impeccable ability to mimic and assume a given person's identity. Her skills are so good that she's been known to even end up thinking like her victims, rendering her virtually undetectable to anyone. Factor that in with the fact that Doe's also a serial killer, and you have a formidable adversary that could really raise the stakes for Gotham.

She can impersonate pretty much anyone out there, so you can imagine that the potential reveal of a fan favourite character having been impersonated by Doe all along would make for a pretty shocking twist. Poor Harv' had to deal with that in the comics, and it worked pretty well there, it must be said.

Regardless of whatever villains do end up getting the nod in season four, it's clear that it's shaping up to be Gotham's biggest yet. With Bruce's rise set in motion, Scarecrow's return a given and, better yet, the debut of Pyg guaranteed, things are looking up for the series. Even if, y'know, it's not the most faithful Bat-thing out there.
