8. A Tale Of Three Davids
The names of some actors that will be joining the cast, including Richard Armitage, Rutina Wesley and Nina Arianda, have been announced. However, Fannibals are more excited about who hasnt been named yet - Fuller may finally get to bring in one of the three Davids he's been courting. Fuller has stated in multiple interviews that hed like to work with David Bowie (rock god), David Tennant (The Doctor) and David Thewlis (werewolf). In fact, he tried to get Bowie on the show in Season 2 to play (drumroll, please) Hannibal's uncle, Robert Lecter, but Bowie was exceptionally busy with musical projects. Fuller commented that once the filming schedule was settled for Season 3 that his people would talk to Bowies people and try to pull him in. So audiences might have an amazing 5 10 national treasure to watch this upcoming season. As for the other two Davids, Tennant was passed over for the part of Hannibal, but that doesnt prevent him from having a guest spot. Meanwhile, Thewlis was mentioned by Fuller as a desirable actor to work with, but there's no confirmations on if he's been approached.
