Harry Hill & Alistair McGowan Teaming For You Cannot Be Serious!

ITV have shot pilot for the topical sports panel show which has been described as "side-splittingly funny".

Harry Hill and Alistair McGowan are teaming together for a new sports panel show for ITV, according to reports in The Sun. 'You Cannot Be Serious' will look at the word of sport each week, and sounds similar to the former BBC favourite panel show They Think It's All Over, with more sketches and impressions promised. Alistair McGowan will be the host, with Hill captaining one of the teams. The comedy show, named after tennis favourite John McEnroe's favourite catchphrase during his playing days, will feature sporting clips and impressions and the pilot for the show was described as "side-splittingly funny" by sources. "The programme will show funny clips from the week's sports and allow Alistair to write new sketches for the first time in ages." News on You Cannot Be Serious have emerged after Harry Hill announced that his popular tv review show TV Burp will be ending in March with a 'huge finale'. Hill has reportedly been the subject of big money overtures to start working for Channel 4 but at least with this panel show he wants to keep his ties to ITV strong.
