With Congress no longer on the table, does Claire aim a little lower for her next endeavor. Nopeshe goes much, much higher. While extremely smart and pragmatic, Claire is not one to let other peoples opinions dictate what she does. So while a First Lady becoming her husbands Vice President may seem insane to everyone else, Claire sees it simply as what she deserves. In her mind, the fact that Frank is president shouldnt prevent her from anything. And the fact that Frank is staunchly against the idea isnt a concern of hers either. This is one battle Claire is not backing down from.
