CBS

Brad Moris was one of Marshal's buddies from law school, and he was played by Joe Manganiello. The two got along well enough, but their relationship got even closer when both of them were single for a short while. During that time, they went on brunch dates together, and it got weird.

Still, their bromance didn't cross any lines, and the two remained friends despite Brad only appearing intermittently throughout the series. He showed up at Marshall's bachelor party and disappeared for pretty much the entire thing only to appear running along the road as the rest of the party was driving past.

He showed up later looking for work outside Marshall's office, but it was all a ploy to get inside to see their case strategy, as he was the opposing counsel. After some shirtless shenanigans failed to win him the case, Brad returns to Marshall's favor by telling him he reminded him why he got into law in the first place.

That event made Marshall want to be a judge, and it was later seen in a flash-forward/flashback that Marshall was running for New York State Supreme Courte against none other than his buddy, Brad, whom he beat in the election.
