How I Met Your Mother Cast: Where Are They Now?
17. Marshall Manesh - Ranjit Singh
Ranjit Singh, otherwise known as the Bangladeshi cab driver who drove characters around during significant points in their lives, including driving Marshall and Lily shortly after they're married, but he technically made How I Met Your Mother history. He was the only recurring secondary character to have appeared throughout all nine seasons.
The actor behind the character, Marshall Manesh, has made some marquee appearances following his last episode airing in 2014. He played Rafiq Massoud Sr. in five episodes of The Brink, and as Virgil in four episodes of Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life.
Like many of his former minor co-stars, Manesh's name made its way to the credits of an NCIS show, being credited for the role of Older Afghan Man in 2020's eleventh season episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. His two most recent roles since this release came via The Last Connection as Davidia Sikand, and Playing With Stars as Khazaei.
Having made his acting debut in 1987, it's possible Manesh may be wrapping up his time within the industry now. Proof of this comes via the fact he's primarily played secondary roles in more recent years.
He'll always have that limo service from How I Met Your Mother, though.
