How I Met Your Mother: Determining Who The Mother Is Heading Into The Final Season

Let's Say She Is Mrs. Mosby....

how i met your mother According to that episodes credits, she is listed as "woman," played by Nicole Muirbrook. If Ted had bumped into a known actress, and done this scene the same way, it would throw off the entire theory and would have raised some serious suspicion. But by keeping this low key and making that woman an unknown, it sets up for a perfect ending and conclusion to finding out who the mother really is. But, if in fact this prediction comes true and it's the girl he bumped into, do they keep Muirbrook as the actual mother? Or do they alter the flashback and make Ted bump into somebody else who looks like her. A lot of different message boards have a theory that the creators and writers of How I Met Your Mother could use Rashida Jones (The Office, I Love You Man) as his wife. Jones has dark hair, looks young enough to be the woman that was in Ted's class at the school (in real life, she's 37 while Josh Radnor is 38) and has portrayed a sweet, caring woman in different roles of the past. Or, the show could stick to the original actress and make her the mother. Until the true identity is revealed, the speculation will keep on going. Stay tuned. What do you, the audience think? Is this "bump into girl" the mother, or is it someone else? Let your voice be heard in the comments below.
