How To Watch Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3

How to watch Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 wherever you are in the world.

It's been two years since that cut-to-black at the end of Hegemony, so our excitement levels are just about boiling over. The conclusion, Hegemony Part 2, airs on Thursday, July 17th, alongside the second episode of the new season, Wedding Bell Blues. They promise to be exciting, frightening, tense, and a little romantic - all things Star Trek knows how to deliver in spades. While that's all good news, the question becomes - how can everyone watch them?

Nerves are already frayed. Where are La'an, M'Benga, Sam, and Erica? Will Batel survive her ordeal? Is that nasty Gorn ship going to tear right through the Enterprise's shields? What's going to happen?

The wait is nearly over, and we are here to help as many people as possible catch up with the thrills, chills, and reveals of the coming season, before bringing you all of the Ups & Downs for every episode as well.

Let's start with the most straightforward way to see new episodes as they air.

Watch Star Trek: Strange New Worlds On Paramount + From Anywhere - Save 70% on NordVPN

Part of the challenge with a multi-national audience is finding a way to stay up to date with everyone else. With different release schedules in different territories, the Final Frontier can seem further away than ever. That's where a VPN comes in.

This software, worthy of Scotty, La Forge, and Torres, removes the geo-blocking barrier, meaning that you will have access to your usual stream, even if you're on an away mission in another country!

We recommend NordVPN. It's fast and affordable, and it unblocks almost any service, including Paramount+.

Sign up today and you'll save 70% on the 2-year plan. You'll also have access to a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. Think of what Quark would say if he heard about that!

Where Were Things Left Off?

Strange New Worlds' second season came to a screaming climax with crewmembers kidnapped, captains infected with Gorn, new Scottish engineers meeting old Lanthanite instructors, and a stricken Pike staring straight into our souls.

Nice light stuff really.

Hegemony offered the audience a classic Star Trek 'to be continued' cliffhanger...and then we were plunged into a two-year wait for the conclusion. While that was more to do with strikes and circumstances outside of Star Trek's control, it was undeniably a tough time for fans.

The biggest questions left by the cliffhanger are:

1. Will Marie Batel survive her bite from a Gorn?

2. Where are La'an, Sam, M'Benga, and Ortegas, along with the rest of the colonists?

3. Is Starfleet going to warp in and save the day, or is the Enterprise on its own?

4. Are Scotty and Pelia going to be able to work well together?

5. Will Spock and Chapel reconcile their romance?

While we have been teased with scenes from Hegemony Part 2 already, we are still anxiously awaiting a resolution to all of the above. While some characters' fates are well-known (Uhura and Spock are probably going to come out of this unscathed), others may not be as lucky.

We've been crying out for MORTEGAS for years now. What we don't want is a glorious moment to shine...as she dies! Don't do that to us, Star Trek! The excitement levels are high, but so are the nerves.

What Can We Expect From Season 3?

Let's put the cliffhangers aside for a moment and talk about what we can expect from Strange New Worlds' third season. The trailers have teased holodecks, Vulcans, analogue phones, and the return of Paul Wesley's James T. Kirk.

Any trailers released for a project run the risk of spoiling some plot points, so there may be those audience members who like to go in totally blind, as honestly, we get it!

Some will analyse every frame of footage released, ready to start theorising what it all means. What's that, you ask? Where's TrekCulture's breakdown? Why, here, of course!

Without giving away any further spoilerific details, season 3 looks set to bring the action, passion, comedy, and horror that we've come to expect from Strange New Worlds. The best way to stay up to date with the episodes as they air is to sign up for Paramount+ via our affiliate link, use NordVPN if you are travelling, and follow along with the Ups & Downs each week.

And remember - week one is a DOUBLE EPISODE - so there will be twice as many videos for you to enjoy.
