One of the ways that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has guaranteed it's longevity is by venturing to places other sitcoms are too afraid to. The show's creator Rob McElhenney - better known as Mac - devised Always Sunny as a way to deliberately make jokes about dark and uncomfortable issues, which probably explains why The Gang have made so many horrible choices.

The proprietors of Paddy's Pub are entirely narcissistic, sociopathic and unempathetic towards each other and those around them, which has led to them garnering a wide assortment of enemies. Through their pettiness and abrasive personalities, the leading characters have done some rather detestable things, that are incredibly disturbing, yet utterly hilarious.

The writers on the show work incredibly hard to make sure that the leads remain likeable, despite the awful crimes they commit, and do an excellent job of balancing it out. However, despite how loveable they may be, it's true that they get away with far more than they deserve to.

Although there are countless awful moments, these ten are the cream of the crop.

A heavy spoiler warning is in effect.

10. Dee Forces A Stripper To Lap Dance His Own Daughter

One of the most common traits within The Gang is a tendency to act harshly towards others for the pettiest of reasons, and Dee takes the cake for one of the worst of these moments.

In the episode PTSDee, Dee sleeps with a stripper and proudly brags about it to the rest of The Gang. However, after he returns to the bar and states that sleeping with her was the wake-up call he needed to change his life, she takes it upon herself to prove to him that she wasn't his "rock-bottom".

Dee spends the entire episode setting up opportunities for him, such as helping his career and aiming to reunite him with his distant daughter. However, it turns out that her intentions were far darker than she let on.

The episode ends with Dee's grand plan, as she puppeteers an awkward encounter where the stripper gives his daughter a lap dance and utterly destroys their fractured relationship. Dee then appears and proclaims "I got you!" and forces him out of the bar and her life.

His words may have hurt, but ruining a man's relationship with his daughter may have been a step too far. It seems hell hath no fury like a Dee scorned.
