Judge Dredd: Mega-City One - 10 Things We Want To See

1. The Apocalypse War

Dredd Reboot
Rebellion

Once Judge Dredd: Mega-City One has a few seasons under its belt, the show will need to up the ante, think bigger, and deliver an event that raises the stakes.

An adaptation of John Wagner and Alan Grant's Apocalypse War arc would do all of that, and give the series its answer to Game of Thrones' Battle of the Bastards.

Apocalypse War depicts an epic conflict between Mega-City One and its Russian counterpart East Meg One. Nukes are tossed back and forth, a massive tidal wave hits the US city-state, and the Soviets occupy Mega-City One, forcing Dredd to lead an underground guerrilla movement against them.

The show would need to invest an entire season to set up this event, but the payoff would be worth it, and in a world where Cold War rhetoric is no longer consigned to the history books, Apocalypse War brims with relevance in the current political climate.
