9. He'll Have A Helping Hand From Marc Guggenheim
If you're looking at Seth Grahame-Smith's IMDb page and feeling a tad underwhelmed, fear not, because he will have some help bringing this cosmic corner of the DC Universe to the small screen.
DC TV veteran Marc Guggenheim is going to be co-writing that first episode with him, though it's unclear how involved he'll be beyond that (it's believed he will also serve as an executive producer which definitely makes sense). Guggenheim is no stranger to the world of Green Lantern because, well, he was one of the writers on the 2011 movie.
Before that sends you into a panic, bear in mind that Guggenheim has since take charge of shows like Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, and he's the guy behind that those massive DC TV crossovers on The CW which always get such good reviews (Crisis on Infinite Earths, for example).
It may not have a dream team in charge, but Guggenheim is clearly a big comic book fan, and Warner Bros. certainly seem confident in what they've dreamed up...
