If you've seen Dan Stevens' phenomenal performance in The Guest then you'll be immediately excited about this casting. The role is that of a cold, calculated killer whose eerie aura is only outweighed by his charm.

His role in Legion is quite the departure from what he is required to play in The Guest however, the role very much solidified his acting chops. Stevens also landed the role as Beast in Disney's Live-Action adaptation of The Beauty and The Beast so he's likely to gain much more mainstream popularity later this year.

If the trailers are anything to go by, Stevens then this role as David Haller is a challenge for any actor. Portraying a character with immeasurable mutant powers, struggling to cope with the mental strain of his abilities whilst remaining relatable sounds like no mean feat.

Thankfully, his track record would suggest he's up to the task and it is likely he'll present us with one of the most unique and interesting takes on a superhero yet.
