9. Who Are The Loki Variants?
When Loki woke up after being pruned, rather than being dead or trapped in Hel, he found himself confronted by four other Variants of himself. Two were instantly recognisable, while the other two may take a bit more time to truly get to know who they are.
Richard E. Grant's character was finally revealed to be Classic Loki. Disney+ have offered up some incredible comic accurate costumes, and Loki just added to the list. He was the one that spoke to the MCU's usual Loki, and offered him the friendly advice to come with them or die.
There was also Kid Loki, played by Jack Veal, who has had a big role to play in certain comic arcs in the source material, and could feature more heavily further down the MCU line (more on that shortly).
Then there was the Variant credited as Boastful Loki, and some kind of Alligator Loki. Though fans would have recognised half of these Variants more than others, they are still left clueless about them after episode four.
What are they doing there? What are their individual stories and why did they get picked up by the TVA? Is it just these five Lokis, or are there more? The list of questions is unending when it comes to these new characters at the moment.
