Loki: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best

With the introduction of the Time Variance Authority came everyone’s favourite MCU bureaucrat, Mobius. Portrayed by Owen Wilson, few could have guessed just how popular the character would become in such a short period of time.

Though he was at first at odds with Loki, as he was hunting down Loki Variants, kept him imprisoned, and could have pruned him at any point, he went on an incredible journey through the six episodes. He went from being his adversary, to being colleagues with Loki, trusting him, not trusting him, and eventually befriending him.

Mobius laid down some incredibly harsh truths for the God of Mischief, but he genuinely only ever had his friend’s best interests at heart. He wanted Loki to change, and wanted him to accept himself and be happy. He was the one who convinced Classic Loki that it’s never too late to change, something that embodied essentially what the entire series was about.

There’s no doubt that Mobius was excellent at his job, but there was also an aspect of innocence to him that MCU fans couldn’t help but connect with. He dedicated his entire life to a lie, to someone who took his true life away from him, while all he really wanted to do was something as simple as enjoy a ride on a jet ski. Here’s hoping this is something we get to see in season two.
