14. Eating Habits
One of Louis's best bits comes from his hit stand-up special, "Chewed Up," which features some of his most brilliant material to date. "Eating Habits" is a phenomenal slice of comedy, mostly due to its self-deprecating nature and its honesty concerning its creator. He has a penchant for phrasing things and bringing them to light in a way that few others can, a gift that is especially evident here. It's this gift for shining a spotlight on humanity's biggest flaws without insulting anyone that makes him so powerful on stage. Being able to take something as mundane(and sometimes depressing) as an eating habit and warp it into something side-splitting is no small feat. Louis repeatedly makes jabs at his own weight and lifestyle, making each and every self-inflicted insult funnier and more refreshing than the last. His timing is impeccable, his material is relevant, and his talent is undeniable. For more self-deprecation and hilarity, check out Louis CK's "Chewed Up" on HBO. And if you enjoy it, check out Louis on HBO and American Hustle when it drops on DVD and Blu-Ray this spring.
