11. Pets And Animals
Most of us have had a pet of some kind while we were growing up. We've also had to deal with the crushing sense of loss that accompanies the death of a pet. Louis recognises the comedic fertility of this topic, and capitalises on it in the most inventive and amazing way. Louis's take on pets (pet fish in particular) and trips to the zoo dominate one of his best sketches, 'Pets and Animals.' Highlights of the joke include Louis explaining the cruel irony of a fish living and dying in water, imitating the horrifying sounds seals and sea lions make, and discussing the indifference people show toward the naming of certain animals. 'Pets and Animals' takes our view of animals and twists it into something absolutely and undeniably hilarious, and I highly recommend giving it at least one watch. You'll thank me later.
