Mad Men: 10 Worst Things Don Draper Did

7. Stealing His Friend's Wife

As already concluded, cheating on your wife is wrong, and BDSM can be surprisingly boring, but what about combining the two, and adding in the breach of your friend's trust for good measure? That certainly kicks things up a notch. When Don buys a new house with his new wife Megan, things are looking up. He's married to a woman half his age in a swish Manhattan apartment. He's even getting on with his neighbours Arnold and Sylvia Rosen. When Arnold visits him at work, they quickly strike up a rapport. Arnold's even a doctor, which offers Don a nice touch of security when you consider his drinking habits. Unfortunately for Arnold, Don is seducing his wife. Thankfully Arnold never finds out, but in many ways that's worse. It doesn't help that his victim isn't some slimy Madison Avenue ad man either - turns out Dr Rosen is a pretty affable chap. Quite how Don can flick the switch and engage in small talk with his friend minutes after leaving his apartment is anyone's guess. Another black mark on his character.
