As mentioned in the last entry, Luke Cage doesn't end things nicely. There's no clear victory for the good guys, or overwhelming defeat for the bad ones.

That's most evident in the season's final, powerful scene, which sees Luke Cage - or rather, Carl Lucas - being taken back to prison to serve the rest of the time he's owed.

Why is it a WTF moment? Well, because it's Luke Cage's own show, he's the hero, and while Daredevil and Jessica Jones have both really tested their characters, they tended to end on a more victorious note. The hero is supposed to win. To an extent, Cage does - but he loses as well, and that's a real surprise.
