A story-arc from Brian Bendis and Alex Maleev's Daredevil run that many thought would work its way into Season 3, The Murdock Papers - the storyline where Matt Murdock's double life was exposed to the press, which led to his eventual incarceration - are poised to happen in Season 4.
Yes, Matt Murdock has more than experienced his fair share of misery at this stage in his life, with the inflections of Born Again having already positioned the character at his lowest point at the beginning of Season 3, but he's by no means out of the woods yet. With Fisk aware of his true identity, and corruption still an obvious issue in New York's legal and judicial circuits, it's only a matter of time until the Kingpin gets back to his evil ways, and Murdock falls into his sights once more.
Much of Season 3 was dedicated to seeing Matt understand the importance of being Murdock, and how the old cliché of a superhero's public persona being their real mask just doesn't hold up. A great way of building upon that theme would be to incorporate elements of a storyline that saw Matt reconcile his daytime persona with his nighttime one, and do it with a new angle in mind...
