7. Hellcat
Patsy Walker plays one of the biggest roles in Jessica's life, the sister figure who's always in Jess' corner, but her own role as the superhero Hellcat in the comics shouldn't be discounted. With her intelligence and resourcefulness, physical prowess, and self-defence skills, it'll be exciting to see Patsy starring alongside her best friend in the new season.
The showrunners have promised the colourful supporting cast, including Jeri Hogarth and Malcolm Ducasse, who were instrumental in Jessica's survival during the harrowing events of season one, will have their stories fleshed out as well. The firm of Hogarth, Benowitz and Chau seems to be turning to unusual clients, Jessica and Luke Cage among them, so the case load they'll be passing to Jessica will be a lot more special this time around. Malcolm has proven a loyal friend and neighbour whose presence just lights up the room, so having him back will be like sunshine on a cold day, if sunshine were a person.
Seeing the plot focus as much on these fan faves as on Jessica is certainly something fans will have fun with, especially if we ever see them cross over to other shows.
