3. Will Lincoln Potter Really Just Leave The Reyes Brothers Alone?
As mentioned in the first entry, after being discovered with a body in the trunk of their car, EZ and Angel were arrested and offered a deal by Lincoln Potter. Potter agreed not only to free the pair, but to cut EZ loose of his previous deal with the DEA. In return, EZ and Angel were tasked with killing their cousin, Kevin Jimenez, the DEA agent who arranged the original deal.
Stuck between a rock and a hard place, the brothers take the deal, resulting in the murder of Jimenez and one of his colleagues at the hands of the pair. After receiving a photo confirming the kill, Potter holds up his end of the bargain, deleting the police files held on EZ.
However, Potter is known as a sketchy and mysterious character, previously playing a large role in trying to take down SAMCRO in Sons of Anarchy. He’s very hard to read and his motivations are often unclear. Being a fan favourite, and still being tied into a deal with the Galindo Cartel, it’s likely we haven’t seen the last of Lincoln Potter.
Unfortunately for EZ and Angel, it’s likely they haven’t seen the last of him either.
