Moon Knight - 10 Insanely Dark Moments Disney Will Never Show
1. When He Mutilated His Nemesis
Moon Knight’s most infamous moment is found in Charlie Huston’s 2006 run. In the second issue Marc recalls how he ended up in a wheelchair, he is in a prior battle with his nemesis Bushmaster.
The two brutally fight along the rooftops, Bushmaster savagely throws Marc off the roof and he lands on a fire escape below breaking and crushing his knees. Thinking he’d won Bushmaster approaches for what he thinks is and easy kill but Marc lands a crescent dart deep in the villain’s neck. The two characters are down but Marc isn’t finished, he climbs on top of his nemesis and cut his face off so the villain’s face resembled his mask, which was a face with the skin removed.
Whereas some of the other points on the list could be argued as justified to solve a crime or save a victim but the only reason to commit this act is for the sure pleasure of it. The worst part is the sadistic nature of the attack as Bushmaster could have bled to death so Moon Knight wanted to make his death as painful as possible.
Also, cutting a man’s face off would take some time so Marc was steadfast in this vicious act for some time and has never shown any remorse or regret for it.
