7. When He Pulled The Plug
Green Arrow’s dream team of Benjamin Percy and Juan Ferreyra turned their eye to Moon Knight for a short story within Marvel Presents #4 (2019). The issue ‘Book of Dreams’ depicts the titular hero bewildered as he regains his senses holding a knife at night in the middle of the street in his underwear. Strange even for Moon Knight.
From there, Marc investigates a series of murders, where the suspects all have the same response, they have no memory, and all of the victims have been murdered with knives with an eye carved into their heads. After a lengthy investigation, it leads him to a nursing home where a catatonic resident has mentally manipulated people to commit murder.
Marc has only one response: to pull the plug on the ventilator and let the man die slowly and he does so without hesitation.
