Moon Knight: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best

4. Arthur Harrow

Arthur Harrow had one of the most cringeworthy introductions of any MCU villain to date. Was there anyone watching the opening scene of the first episode, in which Harrow filled his shoes with glass, that didn’t wince or look away from the screen?

From there he established himself as a mysterious, yet quietly intimidating villain. After his time with Khonshu proved the God’s justice came too late, his devotion to Ammit was what drove him. He judged people with immense power, and only grew stronger as the series continued.

There is a risk when creating a villain like this that the reveal of Ammit would have undermined him somewhat. Think Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, or Kaecilius in Doctor Strange. However, Harrow was a strong enough character on his own that he could endure it. There aren’t many characters that would be able to manipulate a whole council of Gods, or could kill the titular character of the show after all.

Harrow was ruthless, as demonstrated by the complete lack of any hesitation in taking people’s souls as soon as possible, and he gave the titular character a showdown Marc and Steven only just survived. It’s a shame that Harrow won’t be returning to MCU screens in the future, but with Ammit defeated, his story had ultimately been told.
