The Defenders will be overseen by Marco Ramirez, who also served as co-showrunner for the second season of Daredevil. His partner on that series, Doug Petrie, was initially involved with The Defenders too, including co-writing the series, but left at the start of filming to pursue other projects while Ramirez remained.

It's unclear what that means for Daredevil Season 3, which is the only one of these series to have changed showrunner (y'know, being that it's the only one with multiple seasons already), but so far it sounds like at least Ramirez will be back.

The others haven't changed, with Melissa Rosenberg and Cheo Hodari Coker back for more Jessica Jones and Luke Cage respectively, while both (along with Iron Fist showrunner Scott Buck) had input into their characters in The Defenders.

The Punisher, meanwhile, is being overseen by Steve Lightfoot, who served as a producer and writer for Hannibal throughout its three season run. The only director confirmed for the series so far is Andy Godard, who has credits on genre fare such as Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Once Upon a Time. We also know that S.J. Clarkson, whose credits include Jessica Jones, Orange Is The New Black, and Banshee, will helm the first two episodes of The Defenders.
