7. Red Is Back
The relationship between Red and Counsellor Healy had been developing throughout the season, and was pretty weird and uncomfortable. However it pays off when Red, with a little help from her new friend, manages to get back where she belongs - running the kitchen. This is where we really came to know and love the character, and getting her back there is a great move so that she can have her confidence restored and showcase the biting wit that has been slightly missing since she was assaulted by Vee. Thanks to budget cuts she isnt actually in charge of the kitchen like she used to be, something she goes to great pains to point out to all of the other inmates as they eat the slop being provided. Nevertheless, its a return to her former place of glory and a return to her former self, and leads to a moment later in the season when she gets to treat a few lucky prisoners to what is the Litchfield equivalent of a Michelin-starred meal.
