A shorter life spanned character on the show, Mark Brendanawicz did not appear again after his season 2 departure. In addition, he was never so much as referenced again and did not return in the seventh season despite just about every other character getting at least some sort of an appearance.

Schneider starred in the first season of Channel Zero, a horror anthology series for the SyFy channel in 2016. His instalment is based on a creepypasta titled Candle Cove by webcartoonist and writer Kris Straub. He later joined the main cast of vigilante drama Chance for season 2 before its cancellation in early 2018.

Schneider made his Broadway debut in 2018, portraying Matt in Young Jean Lee’s Straight White Men. While the play overall received middling reviews, Schneider was recognised as its highlight. Schneider portrayed Paul Beck that same year in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

Earlier this year, Schneider starred in Tales From the Loop, a sci fi series for Amazon Prime. He also works as an ambassador for the Innocence Project, a legal organisation that seeks to exonerate those who have been wrongly incarcerated due to DNA testing.
