Ranking Every Major MCU Netflix Villain From Worst To Best

16. Vladimir Ranskahov (Daredevil)

Jessica Jones Kilgrave
Netflix

Vladimir, one-half of the Ranskahov brothers, is not only the more compelling of the two, but is also one of the most compelling members of Wilson Fisk's syndicate from season one of Daredevil.

He has the same backstory as his brother, having escaped to New York from a Russian torture dungeon to make a name for himself in the criminal underworld, but his story continued well after his brother's was ended by Fisk's car door.

He was already a vicious, intimidating mob leader when working for Fisk, but when he turned on the Kingpin of crime to avenge his brother is when he really came into his own. Between his shaky alliance with Daredevil towards the end, his unrelenting desire for vengeance, and the fact that he went down swinging makes him one of the most compelling villains in Daredevil.

Sure, his change of heart makes him somewhat less of an all-out villain, but he's still a fantastic character overall.
