Ranking The Marvel Netflix Shows From Worst To Best

Carried almost entirely on the back of Jon Bernthal's committed and unrelenting performance, The Punisher ran for two seasons and is easily the most violent of the six shows.

As Frank Castle, Bernthal nails the tortured persona of a dangerous man haunted by his past. Bernthal was a definite highlight of Daredevil's second season and here he shows that he can lead his own show with all the intensity and emotional connection required. Despite his murderous nature, you feel for Frank and sympathise with his tragic past.

The action is bloody and visceral and you definitely get the sense that Frank Castle is a killing machine. Bernthal's physicality lends a believability to each fight and keeps the action fresh and exciting. The supporting cast isn't exceptional which is a shame with most other characters being quite forgettable but if anything, it's just a testament to Bernthal's skills that he is so much better than everyone else.

The Punisher is one of the more consistently good shows on the list, with two strong seasons, which helps it place so highly.
